"Helping seniors and their loved ones
choose what's best."
Whether you’re an older adult or a concerned family caregiver, the decisions you need to make surrounding aging safely and comfortably can be overwhelming.
An aging life care manager, sometimes referred to as a geriatric care manager, can be a great go-to resource to help answer questions, problem solve and identify needs and solutions to make life easier for your family and loved ones.
An aging life care manager is a trained professional, often a social worker, nurse or gerontologist, who specializes in the field of geriatrics and aging. They have extensive knowledge about the cost, quality and availability of services in elder care and care management. Care managers guide you and your loved ones through health care decisions, such as deciding whether to age in place or relocate to a residential facility, coordinate medical care; be the ‘eyes and ears’ for families at a distance, and advocate for your loved one.
Working with an aging life care manager can provide families with answers to their questions at a time of uncertainty. At Mimi's Choice we will guide families to make decisions that ensure quality care and an optimal life for those they love, thus reducing worry, stress, and time off of work for family caregivers.
